Welcome to Loudoun Girls Little League Softball (LGLLS), where we believe in creating a fun and competitive softball experience for girls ages 4 - 18.  LGLLS is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization chartered by Little League International. Our league is funded entirely by registration fees, fundraising, and sponsor donations.
 
Through proper guidance and exemplary leadership, the Little League program assists youth in developing the qualities of citizenship, discipline, teamwork and physical well-being. By espousing the virtues of character, courage and loyalty, the Little League Softball program is designed to develop superior citizens rather than superior athletes.

The boundary for LGLLS has been expanded east of 28 this spring, to now include Sterling.  As we are expanding into this new area, we are updating website areas as new information is learned. 

One question that has been asked many times so far - What fields will we play?  Spread the word to come and play Little League!   We are excited that our league has been recognized as well organized.  This expansion gives the Little League experience to more young ladies in Loudoun County.

March 3	AAA and Majors Tryouts

March 19 or 26	Practice begins - The county will advise us of the date

LGLLS is testing a whole new club management and communications system that should revolutionize the way we run our league.  Highlights include the following features:

• League news and information pages
• Home pages for all teams
• Online schedules for the league and for individual teams in a variety of formats, including a multi-team schedule for families, with more than one player
• Email notifications of schedule changes
• Game results and player statistics
• League standings
• Online member database
• Customizable, online registration system
• Team rosters
• Blast emails to select groups of members

LGLLS will be testing these new features to evaluate the many ways the league and its members can benefit.
